P2 ASCII Keys Instruction.txt

This is the instruction to have arcade cabinet schematic ASCII keys for the Player 2 or Right-sided Player.

For Drag & Drop users:

  1. Download the .gmtrg file.
  2. Double click on an Object
  3. Click 'Add Event'
  4. click 'Trigger'
  5. click 'Add/Modify Triggers'
  6. Click 'Load'
  7. Select 'P2 Ascii Keys.gmtrg'
  8. Click 'OK'

Now you use these button for your object by clicking 'Trigger' and select the Ascii keys.
Use it as if you normally using the Keyboard, Key Press, or Key Release actions.

For Gml Script users:

For scripting, you would type down the 'keyboard_check(???)' function.
Replace the ??? with the code given below.

Example If Statement:

This makes when the player press the Semicolon, they will move right.
