Every January, SJSU Game Dev Club participates in Global Game Jam, a 48-Hour game jam. Students have the opportunity to add new projects to their portfolio, experience game development with a team, and learn new skills, all within only 48 hours. We also host workshops to give new developers a headstart.

Every semester, students form teams and create a game from the beginning of the semester until the end. We walk developers through the entire game development cycle in a longer setting, giving members direct experience making games and awesome portfolio pieces to show off at the end.
